Subject: Street Improvements – Official Road Maintenance Map

Spruceview & Noview Road Improvements

The Spruceview/Noview Road Improvements Project has been declared substantially complete and is ready for standard road maintenance. These improvements include a detached, paved sidewalk. These road improvements were completed in 2007 and this department has inspected and approved the construction.

The streets are as follows:

1. Spruceview Avenue – 1700 lineal feet of road and sidewalk

2. Noview Avenue – 740 lineal feet of road and sidewalk

3. Mullikin Street – 640 lineal feet of road and sidewalk

4. Wright Street – 650 lineal feet of road – Reconstructed, already maintained, not included in new total

This is a total of 3080 lineal feet of new road improvements (.59 miles), and 2440 lineal feet of sidewalk (.47 miles)

In accordance with Ordinance 85.13, Section 12.20.090, and Section 11.20.100, this Department requests that the City Council formally accept the street improvements for operation and maintenance. Upon the council’s approval, please add the additional .59 miles of roadway and .47 miles of sidewalk to the official road maintenance map for year-round maintenance.

Fiscal Note – Annual maintenance costs for these improvements is estimated to be $12,320.
