SUBJECT:   2007 Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Contract

Attached is our 2007 Commercial Vehicle Enforcement contract from the state. The only difference between this contract and last year's is that the billing period has increased from 15 days to 30 days. This should make things smoother for our finance department.

We intend to work hard on our commercial vehicle safety inspections in 2007. This contract will help us to do so. It will reimburse up to $6,605.00 and could be increased if we conduct more inspections. I request that we obtain council approval to accept this contract.
