SUBJECT: REAPPOINTMENT OF MICHAEL HAWFIELD AND APPOINTMENT OF EILEEN FAULKNER TO THE LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD, APPOINTMENT OF KEVIN HOGAN TO THE PORT AND HARBOR ADVISORY COMMISSION, APPOINTMENT OF JESSICA TENHOFF TO THE PARKS AND RECREATION ADVISORY COMMISSION AND APPOINTMENT OF DALE BANKS TO THE GLOBAL WARMING TASK FORCE

Michael Hawfield is reappointed to the Library Advisory Board and his new term will expire April 1, 2010.

Eileen Faulkner is appointed to the Library Advisory Board. Her new term will expire April 1, 2010.

Kevin Hogan is appointed to the Port and Harbor Advisory Commission to replace outgoing Commissioner Weichhand and his term will expire February 1, 2008.

Jessica Tenhoff is appointed to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission to replace outgoing Commissioner Gann and her term will expire October 31, 2007.

Dale Banks is appointed to the Global Warming Task Force. The Task Force shall provide a final report, with recommendations, to the City Council no later than December 30, 2007.

RECOMMENDATION:

Confirm the Reappointment of Michael Hawfield to the Library Advisory Board, the appointment of Eileen Faulkner to the Library Advisory Board, Kevin Hogan to the Port and Harbor Advisory Commission, Jessica Tenhoff to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission, and Dale Banks to the Global Warming Task Force.
