SUBJECT: New CIP draft

Please find attached a new draft of the 2009-2014 Capital Improvement Plan. The most notable change since the last draft (prepared for the September 22 Committee of the Whole meeting) is that all the tables have been updated. These include:

· Summary of Projects by Year and Cost, all categories (page 1); Local Roads & Trails (p. 3); Structures (p. 9); Utilities (p. 27); and Equipment (p. 31)

Note: Proposed new projects have not yet been incorporated. When new projects are added or existing projects are removed, the dollar totals will change.

· Overall Project Table, listing all projects (in Appendix).

Note: Proposed new projects are listed separately, awaiting Council decision on which ones to add. Long-range projects (to be undertaken after 2014) are also in a separate table.

Tables include City of Homer projects only. State transportation projects and non-profit projects are not listed.

Also attached are the proposed new CIP projects, with no changes from the version you last saw. I will add any that are approved to the CIP and will update CIP tables, including Table of Contents, as needed.
