SUBJECT: APPOINTMENT OF KENT HAINA TO THE ADVISORY PLANNING

COMMISSION AND APPOINTMENT OF MARIANNE APLIN TO THE PUBLIC ARTS COMMITTEE.

There were two applicants for the Advisory Planning Commission seat vacated by Bryan Zak. Kent Haina is appointed to the Advisory Planning Commission with a term to expire July 1, 2009. This appointment fills the seat of outgoing member Bryan Zak, who was elected to the City Council.

Marianne Aplin is appointed to the Public Arts Committee with a term to expire April 28, 2009. This appointment fills the seat of outgoing member Mike Yourkowski.

RECOMMENDATION:

Confirm the appointment of Kent Haina to the Advisory Planning Commission and Marianne Aplin to the Public Arts Committee.
