SUBJECT:      APPOINTMENT OF GRETCHEN DRUHOT TO THE ADVISORY                                           PLANNING COMMISSION, TINA DAY TO THE ECONOMIC                                                            DEVELOPMENT ADVISORY COMMISSION, MARK HOTTMANN TO THE                                   PORT AND HARBOR ADVISORY COMMISSION, CAROL HARDING AND                                  MICHELE MILLER TO THE PUBLIC ARTS COMMITTEE, AND HEATHER                                    SCHADE TO THE LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD AS THEIR NON VOTING                     STUDENT MEMBER.

 

Gretchen Druhot is appointed to the Advisory Planning Commission to fill the seat vacated by Caroline Storm. (Bob Burns was previously appointed to fill this seat and resigned due to travel that prohibited him from taking office within the required thirty days.) Ms. Druhot’s term will expire July 1, 2010.

 

Tina Day is appointed to the Economic Development Advisory Commission to fill the seat vacated by Nikolai Yakunin. Her term will expire April 1, 2012.

 

Mark Hottmann is appointed to the Port and Harbor Advisory Commission to fill the seat vacated by Kevin Hogan. His term will expire February 1, 2011.

 

Carol Harding and Michele Miller are appointed to the Public Arts Committee. Carol Harding will fill the seat vacated by Dave Anderson and Michelle Miller will fill the seat vacated by Karin Marks. Carol Harding’s term will expire April 28, 2011. Michelle Miller’s term will expire April 28, 2012.

 

Heather Schade is appointed to the Library Advisory Board as their non voting student member.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

 

Confirm the appointment of Gretchen Druhot to the Advisory Planning Commission, Tina Day to the Economic Development Advisory Commission, Mark Hottmann to the Port and Harbor Advisory Commission, Carol Harding and Michele Miller to the Public Arts Committee, and Heather Schade to the Library Advisory Board as their non voting student member.
