SUBJECT: APPOINTMENT OF JULIE BEATTY TO THE LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD, REAPPOINTMENT OF GLEN CARROLL TO THE PORT AND HARBOR ADVISORY COMMISSION, REAPPOINTMENT OF MARIANNE APLIN, TRINA FELLOWS, AND ANGIE NEWBY TO THE PUBLIC ARTS COMMITTEE, AND APPOINTMENT OF SHARON MINSCH AND MICHAEL YOURKOWSKI TO THE SPIT COMPREHENSIVE PLAN COMMITTEE.
Julie Beatty is appointed to the Library Advisory Board for a three-year term to fill the seat vacated by Nancy Lord. Her term will expire April 1, 2012.
Glen Carroll is reappointed to the Port and Harbor Advisory Commission for a three-year term to expire February 1, 2012.
Marianne Aplin is reappointed to the Public Arts Committee for a two-year term to expire April 28, 2011. Trina Fellows and Angie Newby are both reappointed to the Public Arts Committee for a one-year term to expire April 28, 2010.
Sharon Minsch and Michael Yourkowski are appointed to the Spit Comprehensive Plan Committee. Their appointments will expire upon completion of the Spit Comprehensive and Parking Plan.
RECOMMENDATION:
Confirm the appointment of Julie Beatty to the Library Advisory Board, reappointment of Glen Carroll to the Port and Harbor Advisory Commission, Marianne Aplin, Trina Fellows and Angie Newby to the Public Arts Committee, and Sharon Minsch and Michael Yourkowski to the Spit Comprehensive Plan Committee.
