SUBJ: HOMER ENTERPRISES, LLC SUB-LEASE REQUEST

Background

The Lease Committee reviewed the Homer Enterprises, LLC sub-lease request at the July 9, 2009 regular meeting and a special meeting held on July 15, 2009. After review of additional information the committee recommended the following:

ALDERFER/HARVILLE - MOVED TO RECOMMEND THAT CITY COUNCIL APPROVE A SUBLEASE TO THE EXISTING LEASE AND DIRECT THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO NEGOTIATIONS.

There was no further discussion.

VOTE. YES. NON-OBJECTION. UNANIMOUS CONSENT.

Motion carried.

Excerpts from the unapproved minutes for July 9, 2009 and July 15, 2009 have been attached.

Recommendation

Approve sublease request and direct City Manager to enter into negotiations.
