AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA, ACCEPTING AND APPROPRIATING AN INTERLIBRARY COOPERATION GRANT AWARD FROM THE ALASKA STATE LIBRARY IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,250.00 FOR THE HOMER PUBLIC LIBRARY TRAVEL AND COST REIMBURSEMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, this grant in the amount of $1,250 is to provide travel and incidental cost reimbursement for attendance at meetings of the public library directors of the four largest Kenai Peninsula Borough public libraries to study and improve interlibrary cooperation and services within the borough and to provide training for the directors.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Homer City Council:

Section 1. That the Interlibrary Cooperation Grant award from the Alaska State Library in the amount of $1,250.00 is hereby accepted and that the City Manager is authorized to execute the appropriate documents.

Section 2. The grant of $1,250.00 is hereby appropriated to the following account in the respective amount:

Section 3. This ordinance is a budget amendment only, is not of a permanent nature and is a non code ordinance.
