AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA, APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE CITY MANAGER CONTRACT AMENDMENT AND AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION IN THE ICMA RETIREMENT CORPORATE 401A EXECUTIVE PLAN.

WHEREAS, at the City Council's Special Meeting of July 31, 2000 the Council made amendments to the City Manager's Contract that require an appropriation from the Fund Balance to the City Manager's Salary, account 100.5101.110; and

WHEREAS, the City Council's amendments include a car allowance of $50 per month and a contribution of $500 per month in a 401A with the effective date on these amendments to be retroactive to June 1, 2000.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Homer City Council:

Section 1. That $3,850 is appropriated from the General Fund Balance to facilitate the Council's amendments to the City Manager's Contract.

Section 3. This ordinance is a budget amendment only, is not of a permanent nature and is a non code ordinance.
