ORDINANCE 0127(S)

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HOMER, ALASKA, AMENDING THE HOMER CITY ZONING MAP TO REZONE PORTIONS OF THE RURAL RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT (RR) TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL 1 (GC1).

WHEREAS, the Homer City Council requested that the Homer Advisory Planning Commission initiate an ordinance to rezone portions of the Rural Residential District (RR) to General Business 1 (GC1) as per attached Exhibit A; and,

WHEREAS, the Homer Advisory Planning Commission held a public hearing on the matter on May 16, 2001 as required by the Homer City Code, Section 21.70.020.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF HOMER ORDAINS:

Section 1. The Homer Zoning Map will be amended as per attached Exhibit A, to rezone the indicated areas from the Rural Residential District (RR) to General Commercial 1 (GC1).

Section 2. The City Clerk is authorized to sign the map and adhere to the requirements set forth in the Homer City Code, Section 21.36.020.(c).

Section 3. This is a non code ordinance and shall be duly noted in the ordinance table of the City Code.
