ORDINANCE 01-37

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA, ACCEPTING AND APPROPRIATING A GRANT FROM THE STATE OF ALASKA DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION, DIVISION OF SENIOR SERVICES, IN THE AMOUNT OF $8,098.00 FOR THE SENIOR LIBRARY PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, the Notice of Grant Award was received on June 18, 2001; and

WHEREAS, the grant received from the State of Alaska Department of Administration is in the amount of $8,098.00 for the Senior Community Service Employment Program.

NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Homer ordains:

Section 1. That the grant from the State of Alaska Department of Administration is hereby accepted and appropriated as follows for the Senior Community Service Employment Program.

Expense 100.5103-5104.147 Salary & Benefits $8,098.00

Section 2. That the City Manager is authorized to execute the appropriate documents.

Section 3. This ordinance is a budget amendment only, is not of a permanent nature and is a non code ordinance.
