ORDINANCE 01-41

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA, ACCEPTING AND APPROPRIATING FUNDING FROM THE STATE OF ALASKA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC FACILITIES (ADOT/PF) IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,500,000.00 FOR THE KACHEMAK BAY MULTI PURPOSE OCEAN DOCK PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, the ADOT/PF has allocated to the City of Homer for the Kachemak Bay Multi Purpose Ocean Dock, also known as the Pioneer Dock, project funding in the amount of $3,500,000.00 as the ADOT/PF's share of the construction project; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to the Memorandum of Understanding the State Retainage will be $140,000 for overhead, Indirect Cost Allocation Plan, and $30,000 will be for direct cost of project oversight.

NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Homer ordains:

Section 1. Funds are accepted from ADOT/PF in the amount of $3,330,000.00 and appropriated as follows for the Kachemak Bay Multi Purpose Ocean Dock project, also known as Pioneer Dock.
