ORDINANCE 01-49(A)

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA, APPROPRIATING $11,500.00 FROM THE HOMER POLICE DEPARTMENT FLEET RESERVE FOR THE PURCHASE OF THREE USED POLICE VEHICLES.

WHEREAS, the City of Homer's 2001 budget for the Police Department Fleet Reserve fund has a balance of $28,000; and

WHEREAS, the Police Department has opportunity to purchase three used police vehicles; and

WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds to purchase three used police vehicles.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Homer City Council:

Section 1. That the City Manager is authorized to purchase three used police vehicles funded by the Police Department Fleet Reserve fund in the amount of $11,500.00 and appropriated as follows:

Section 2. This ordinance is a budget amendment only, is not of a permanent nature and is a non code ordinance.
