ORDINANCE 01-56

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA, ACCEPTING AND APPROPRIATING A GRANT FROM INTERNET CRIMES AGAINST CHILDREN (ICAC) IN THE AMOUNT OF $45,000.00 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, the ICAC Task Force Program has granted the Homer Police Department $45,000 for additional computer equipment and advanced training for several officers that will be useful in all types of investigations.

NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Homer ordains:

Section 1. Funds are accepted from the ICAC Task Force Program in the amount of $45,000.00 and appropriated as follows:

Section 2. That the City Manager is authorized to execute the appropriate documents.

Section 3. This ordinance is a budget amendment only, is not of a permanent nature and is a non code ordinance.
