ORDINANCE 02-02

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA, AMENDING THE 2001 BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING $170,000.00 FROM THE GENERAL FUND, FUND BALANCE FOR LEGAL FEES.

WHEREAS, legal fees for 2001 have exceeded the amount budgeted in 2001 by approximately $146,000.00; and

WHEREAS, the billing for December 2001 legal fees is pending and are estimated at $24,000.00.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Homer City Council:

Section 1. That $170,000.00 is hereby appropriated from the General Fund, Fund Balance for legal fees incurred in 2001 to Acct: 100.5210.100, Mayor/Council Professional and Special Services.

Section 2. This ordinance is a budget amendment only, is not of a permanent nature and is a non code ordinance.
