ORDINANCE 02-10                                          

 

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA ACCEPTING AND APPROPRIATING A REIMBURSEMENT OF $9,600.00 FROM THE STATE OF ALASKA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC FACILITIES FOR PERFORMING INSPECTIONS ON COMMERCIAL VEHICLES AND COMMERCIAL VEHICLE DRIVER CREDENTIALS AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

 

WHEREAS, The State Department of Transportation and Public Facilities will reimburse the City of Homer up to $9,600.00 for inspections on commercial vehicles and commercial vehicle Driver credentials; and

 

            WHEREAS, These inspections are part of the commercial vehicle enforcement program; and

 

WHEREAS, There is a standard agreement by and between the State Department of Transportation and the City of Homer, as part of the reimbursement for commercial vehicle inspections, regarding the appendices, performance of service, period of performance and considerations.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Homer City Council:

 

Section 1. That the reimbursement of up to $9,600.00 from the State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, for performing inspections on commercial vehicles and commercial vehicle driver credentials, is here by accepted and appropriated as follows:
