ORDINANCE 02-39(S)

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA, ACCEPTING AND APPROPRIATING A STATE OF ALASKA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS GRANT FOR COMMUNITY JAIL IMPROVEMENTS/UPGRADES IN THE AMOUNT OF $6,150.00 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, Homer Police Department is in receipt of a Department of Corrections Grant for jail improvements/upgrades in the amount of $6,150.00.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Homer City Council:

Section 1. That the grant is accepted from the State of Alaska Department of Corrections in the amount of $6,150.000 and shall be appropriated as follows:

Revenue 100.4503.030 State of Alaska Department of Corrections $6,150.00

Expenditure 100.5903.164 HPD Jail $6,150.00

Section 2. That the City Manager is authorized to execute the appropriate documents.

Section 3. This ordinance is a budget amendment only, is not of a permanent nature and is a non code ordinance.
