ORDINANCE 02-42(S)(A)

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HOMER, ALASKA, AMENDING THE HOMER CITY ZONING MAP TO ZONE PORTIONS OF THE ANNEXED AREA IDENTIFIED AS STUDY AREA #1 PER ATTACHED EXHIBIT A.

WHEREAS, the Homer City Council requested that the Homer Advisory Planning Commission initiate an ordinance to zone the annexed areas; and

WHEREAS, The Homer Advisory Planning Commission held a public hearing on the matter on July 17, 2002 as required by Homer City Code, Section 21.70.020; and

WHEREAS, The Homer Advisory Commission has determined that the proposed zoning is in compliance with the Homer Comprehensive Plan.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF HOMER ORDAINS:.

Section 1. The Homer Zoning Map will be amended as per attached map labeled Exhibit A. and Exhibit B. to zone the indicated areas Rural Residential District (RR), General Commercial I (GC1), Open Space Recreation (OCR), and Conservation (CON).

Section 2. The City Clerk is authorized to sign the map and adhere to the requirements set forth in the Homer City Code, Section 21.36.020(c).

Section 3. This is a non code ordinance and shall be duly noted in the ordinance table of the City Code.
