ORDINANCE 03-17

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXPEND UP TO $7,000.00 FROM ACCOUNT 151-750 FOR UNITED STATES GEOLOGICAL SURVEY SEDIMENT STUDY, CAMERA PLATFORM.

WHEREAS, The United States Geological Survey (USGS) is proceeding with the sediment transport study; and

WHEREAS, Public Works coordinated the installation of the camera platform poles, conduit, and electric and phone wires with HEA, Arno Construction and Alaska Industrial Electric; and

WHEREAS, Public Works constructed the platform and camera supports; and

WHEREAS, The City of Homer has expended $6,598.72 since February 2003 via Public Works Budget; and

WHEREAS, A Coastal Impact Assistance Grant is expected to be awarded for this project.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City of Homer :

Section 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to expend up to $7,000.000 from Acct. 151.750 for the USGS Sediment Study camera platform.
