ORDINANCE 03-22(S)
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA, ACCEPTING AND APPROPRIATING A
GRANT OF $108,305.00 FROM THE ALASKA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC FACILITIES
HIGHWAY SAFETY PROJECT FOR TRAFFIC SAFETY SATURATION PATROLS AND IN CAR VIDEO SYSTEMS
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, The Homer Police Department is in receipt of a Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities
(ADOT/PF) Highway Safety Project grant in the amount of $108,305.00; and
WHEREAS, The grant will be utilized for traffic safety saturation patrols and in car digital video systems and includes
personnel services, commodities and equipment; and
WHEREAS, A portion of this grant is for personnel services, commodities and equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City of Homer :
Section 1. That the ADOPT/PF Highway Safety Project grant is hereby accepted and appropriated as follows and that the
City Manager is authorized to execute the appropriate documents:
