ORDINANCE 03-56
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL APPROPRIATING UP TO $17,000.00 FROM PUBLIC WORKS RESERVE FUND FOR A COMPRESSOR REPLACEMENT
WHEREAS, Public Works' 1989 Model Ingersoll Rand mobile air compressor quit working and the estimated parts cost to repair this unit are in excess of
$10,000.00; and
WHEREAS, Public Works recommends, due to the age of the unit and repair costs, that a new or used, with low hours, unit be purchased; and
WHEREAS, A replacement compressor will cost between $12,000.00 and $17,000.00 and was not budgeted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City of Homer :
Section 1. Appropriating up to $17,000.00 from the Public Works Reserve Fund for a replacement compressor as follows:

Section 2. This ordinance is a budget amendment only, is not of a permanent nature and is a non code ordinance.
