ORDINANCE 04-14

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA ACCEPTING AND APPROPRIATING TWO GRANTS FROM THE STATE OF ALASKA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,200.00 AND $5,000.00 FOR PROFESSIONAL TRAINING SERVICES FOR THE HOMER POLICE DEPARTMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, The Homer Police Department is in receipt of two State of Alaska Department of Public Safety grants in the amounts of $3,200.00 and $5,000.00; and

WHEREAS, The grants will be utilized for a caliber press street survival seminar, Sergeant Hutt=s administrative officer=s course and related police training.

NOW, THEREFORE, The City of Homer ordains:

Section 1. That the State of Alaska Department of Public Safety Professional Training Services grants are hereby accepted and appropriated as follows and that the City Manager is authorized to execute the appropriate documents:
