AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA APPROPRIATING $59,000.00 FROM PORT AND HARBOR RESERVES TO COMPLETE THE SPIT RESTROOM PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, The Spit Restroom Project was begun the summer of 2004, to construct restroom facilities located at Ramps 4 and 6 and at the upper Load and Launch Ramp area; and

WHEREAS, $59,000.00 is needed to finish that project in preparation of the 2005 Tourist Season, See Memorandum 05-52 for breakdown; and

WHEREAS, The Finance Director and Public Works Director are attempting to obtain the final funding, $59,000.00, from the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.

NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Homer Ordains:

Section 1. That the City Council hereby appropriates $59,000.00 from the Port and Harbor Reserves to complete the Spit Restroom Project and the Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute the appropriate documents:
