ORDINANCE 05-33

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HOMER, ALASKA, AMENDING THE HOMER CITY ZONING MAP TO REZONE PORTIONS OF THE GENERAL COMMERCIAL ONE ZONING DISTRICT (GC1) TO RURAL RESIDENTIAL ZONING DISTRICT (RR).

WHEREAS, The Homer Advisory Planning Commission reviewed a request to rezone property from General Commercial One Zoning District to Rural Residential Zoning District, and

WHEREAS, The Homer Advisory Planning Commission held a public hearing on the matter on April 20, 2005, as required by Homer City Code, Section 21.70.020, and

WHEREAS, The Homer Advisory Planning Commission determined that the rezone was in compliance with the Homer Comprehensive Plan.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF HOMER ORDAINS:

Section 1. The Homer Zoning Map will be amended as per attached Exhibit A, to rezone the lot with legal description Tract I-1 of Tietjen Subdivision No. 7 from the General Commercial One (GC1) Zoning District to Rural Residential (RR) Zoning District.

Section 2. The City Clerk is authorized to sign the map and adhere to the requirements set forth in the Homer City Code, Section 21.36.020. (c).

Section 3. This is a non code Ordinance and is of a permanent nature.
