ORDINANCE 05-38

AN ORDINANCE OF THE HOMER CITY COUNCIL ACCEPTING AND APPROPRIATING A $5,000.00 MATCHING GRANT FOR VOLUNTEER FIRE ASSISTANCE FROM THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES FOR THE HOMER VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, The local match of the $5,000.00 is through "in-kind" services already budgeted via Ordinance 04-53(S)(A) and adopted on December 13, 2004; and

WHEREAS, This matching grant is for volunteer fire assistance and is administered by the Department of Natural Resources.

NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City of Homer:

Section 1. The Homer City Council hereby accepts and appropriates a matching grant of $5,000.00 from State Department of Natural Resources as follows:

Match is budgeted "in-kind" services

Section 2. This ordinance is a budget amendment only, is not of a permanent nature and is a non code ordinance.
