AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA ACCEPTING AND APPROPRIATING GRANTS FROM THE ALASKA HIGHWAY SAFETY OFFICE, IN THE AMOUNT OF $6,500.00, AND THE ALASKA POLICE OFFICER'S SAFETY COUNCIL, IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,000.000, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND CHIEF OF POLICE TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, In support of the Strategic Evaluation States Driving Under the Influence enforcement campaign the Homer Police Department has been granted up to $3,250.00 for reimbursement for overtime and vehicle maintenance for FY 2005; and
WHEREAS, In support of the National Crackdown on impaired drivers to reduce alcohol related deaths and injuries the Homer Police Department has been granted up to $3,250.00 for overtime and vehicle maintenance for FY 2005; and
WHEREAS, The Homer Police Department received a grant of $2,000.00 for .
NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Homer Ordains:
Section 1. That the City Council hereby authorizes the expenditure of $12,352.06 for Public Safety Antenna Replacement and hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute the appropriate documents:
