ORDINANCE 06-24

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL AMENDING HOMER CITY CODE CHAPTER1.72 TITLE TO READ PORT AND HARBOR ADVISORY COMMISSION.

WHEREAS, The name of the port and harbor commission is noted in Homer City Code Section 1.72.010 as the Port and Harbor Advisory Commission; and

WHEREAS, The Commission was called the Port and Harbor Advisory Commission in 1973 and it appears that when the City Code was revised in 1982 that the name did not carry over in the new title of the new chapter.

NOW THEREFORE, the City of Homer Ordains:

Section 1. That Homer City Code Chapter 1.72 is hereby amended to reflect the proper name of the port and harbor commission from the Harbor Advisory Commission to the Port and Harbor Advisory Commission.

Section 2. This ordinance is of a permanent and general character and shall be included in the Homer City Code.
