ORDINANCE 06-25

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL AMENDING HOMER CITY CODE CHAPTER 1.78 ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADVISORY COMMISSION, TO DELETE ALL REFERENCES TO THE OVERALL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND INSERT THE COMPREHENSIVE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY.

WHEREAS, The Homer Economic Advisory Commission was reactivated by the City Council via Resolution 06-20 adopted during a Regular City Council meeting held on February 27, 2006; and

WHEREAS, The Overall Economic Development Plan has been changed to the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy by the Economic Development Administration (EDA) and therefore should be changed in our City Code.

NOW THEREFORE, the City of Homer Ordains:

Section 1. That all references to the Overall Economic Development Plan or OEDP in Homer City Code Chapter 1.78 be deleted and the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy or CEDS be inserted in its place.

Section 3. This ordinance is of a permanent and general character and shall be included in the Homer City Code.
