AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, AMENDING THE FY 2006 BUDGET BY TRANSFERRING $31,071.04 FROM THE GENERAL FUND – FUND BALANCE TO THE 2006 ANIMAL SHELTER BUDGET/ANIMAL SHELTER CONSTRUCTION BUDGET AND TRANSFERRING $4,105.49 FROM THE 2006 PARKS AND RECREATION RESERVES TO THE KAREN HORNADAY PARK CONSTRUCTION ACCOUNT.
WHEREAS, The authorized construction budget for the Animal Shelter was $1,039,875 and actual expenditures were $1,035,310.44; and
WHEREAS, Only $1,004,234.40 in project revenue was raised, leaving a deficit of $31,071.04; and
WHEREAS, The approved budget for the Karen Hornaday Hillside Park project was $26,847 and the expenditures were $30,952.49; and
WHEREAS, The budget was exceeded by $4,105.49 in part due to the need for equipment rental.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF HOMER ORDAINS:
Section 1. That funds for the Animal Shelter be transferred as follows:
