ORDINANCE 07-05

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA ACCEPTING AND APPROPRIATING $4,940.00 FROM THE STATE OF ALASKA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS FOR UPGRADES TO THE HOMER JAIL FACILITY AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, The City of Homer has been awarded $4940.00 from the Alaska Department of Corrections FY 2006 Capital Projects budget; and

WHEREAS, These funds are slated for the replacement of jail cell toilets and the jail shower.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF HOMER ORDAINS:

Section 1. That the City Council hereby accepts and appropriates $4,940.00 from the State of Alaska Department of Corrections and authorizes the City Manager’s execution of the appropriate documents:

Revenue Account

100.030.4514- Other Agencies - Other Grants - $4,940.00

Expenditure Account

100.164.5903- General Fund - Jail - Buildings - $4,940.00

Section 2. This ordinance is budget amendment only, is not of a permanent nature and is a non code ordinance
