AN ORDINANCE OF THE
HOMER
WHEREAS, The Public Arts Committee was created via Ordinance 02-25(A) with a membership of seven committee members with terms of two years; and
WHEREAS, It has created difficulty with all members terms expiring simultaneously to have the required members present for a meeting; and
WHEREAS, Staggering the terms of the members will allow fewer vacancies on the Committee and provide assurance a quorum is present.
Section
1.
a. The City Council shall
appoint a Public Arts Committee consisting of seven members. Prior to making
appointments, the City Council may solicit nominations from the
Section
2. This ordinance
is permanent and shall become part of the Code.
