ORDINANCE 07-38

OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA, ACCEPTING AND APPROPRIATING AN ALASKA DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE, COMMUNITY, AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT (DCCED) GRANT OF $65,000.00 FOR THE SPIT TRAIL COMPLETION AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, The purpose of this grant is to provide funding to the City of Homer for use towards the Spit Trail Completion; and

WHEREAS, This project may include construction of the Homer Spit Trail from the existing terminus to End of the Road Park.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City of Homer:

Section 1. That the City Council hereby accepts and appropriates a DCCED Grant of $65,000.00 for Spit Trail Completion as follows:

Section 2. That the City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute the appropriate documents.

Section 3. This ordinance is a budget amendment only, is not of a permanent nature and is a non code ordinance.
