ORDINANCE 08-54(S)

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA, ACCEPTING AND APPROPRIATING A FY 2009 LEGISLATIVE GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF TWO MILLION DOLLARS ($2,000,000) FOR THE MAIN STREET INTERSECTION/RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT.

WHEREAS, The City has been awarded a FY 2009 Legislative Grant in the amount of $2,000,000 for the Main St. Intersection/Reconstruction Project; and

WHEREAS, The City recently received the grant agreement from the Department of Commerce.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF HOMER ORDAINS:

Section 1: The Homer City Council hereby accepts and appropriates the FY 2009 Legislative Grant in the amount of $2,000,000 for the Main St. Intersection/Reconstruction project as follows:
