ORDINANCE 09-08(A)

AN ORDINANCE OF THE HOMER CITY COUNCIL, APPROPRIATING FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $248,030; 50% FROM THE GENERAL FUND RESERVE ACCOUNT AND 50% FROM THE WATER AND SEWER FUND RESERVE ACCOUNT, FOR THE COST OF WATERSHED LAND ACQUISITION, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO ACQUIRE REAL PROPERTY DESCRIBED AS LOTS 6, 7 AND 8, ROEHL PARCELS RECORD OF SURVEY, HOMER RECORDING DISTRICT, FOR WATERSHED PROTECTION PURPOSES.

THE CITY OF HOMER ORDAINS:

Section 1. The sum of $248,030 is appropriated; 50% from the General Fund Reserve Account and 50% from the Water and Sewer Fund Reserve Account for the cost of watershed land acquisition as follows:

Section 2. The City is authorized to acquire the real property described as Lots 6, 7 and 8, Roehl Parcels Record of Survey, Homer Recording District, for the sum of $248,030, for watershed protection purposes.

Section 3. The City Manager is authorized and directed to do and perform all things and determine all matters not determined by this Ordinance, to the end that the City may carry out the acquisition of real property described in this ordinance.

Section 4. This ordinance authorizes a budget amendment and the acquisition of real property, is temporary in nature, and is a non-code ordinance which shall not be codified.
