AN ORDINANCE OF THE
WHEREAS, Pioneer Dock was completed in 2002 and Deep Water Dock and the Fish Dock were inspected and evaluated in 2002; and
WHEREAS, It is necessary for an engineer to inspect the cathodic protection system on Pioneer Dock and provide recommendations for repair or replacement of the cathodic protection system; and
WHEREAS, It is necessary for an engineer to inspect and evaluate Deep Water Dock for the effectiveness of the cathodic protection system improvements made in 2005; and
WHEREAS, It is an appropriate time to investigate the effectiveness of the corrosion protection system on Fish Dock.

THEREFORE, THE
Section 1: The Homer City Council hereby amends the FY 2009 Operating Budget by appropriating $52,870 for inspections and recommendations on the Pioneer Dock, Deep Water Dock, and the Fish Dock as follows:
