ORDINANCE 10-05

 

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA, AMENDING HOMER CITY CODE 21.40.060 BRIDGE CREEK WATERSHED PROTECTION DISTRICT CONDITIONAL USES AND STRUCTURES TO INCLUDE MORE THAN ONE BUILDING CONTAINING A PERMITTED PRINCIPLE USE ON A LOT AS A CONDITIONAL USE.

 

            WHEREAS, The 1999 Comprehensive Plan Update Residential Land Use section states: “Protect the integrity and attractiveness of the residential neighborhood, continue to encourage infilling of residential areas, and the City shall maintain community integrity by providing safe neighborhoods”; and

 

            WHEREAS, The Bridge Creek Watershed Protection District does not allow for more than one building containing a permitted principle use on a lot.

 

            NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF HOMER ORDAINS:

 

            Section 1.  Homer City Code 21.40.060 Bridge Creek Watershed Protection District Conditional Uses and Structures is hereby amended by adding a subsection (g) to read as follows:

 

            g. More than one building containing a permitted principal use on a lot.

            Section 2.   This Ordinance is of a permanent and general character and shall be included in the City Code.
