A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HOMER, ALASKA COMMENDING DAVID BRANN FOR HIS PROFESSIONALISM, TEAMWORK AND MERITORIOUS EFFORTS ON THE KACHEMAK BAY AREA CONNECTED TRAILS SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, the Kachemak Bay connected trails system improves access to Kachemak Bay areas; and
WHEREAS, a connected trails system requires vision and a close working relationship with landowners as well as local, borough and state government agencies ad others; and
WHEREAS, David Brann as Vice President of the Kachemak Nordic Ski Club provided professionalism, a teamwork attitude and meritorious efforts in support of the Ski Club's vision for a connected trails system in the Kachemak Bay area; and .
WHEREAS, a connected trail system will strengthen Homer's economy by allowing Kachemak Bay area residents and visitors a better opportunity to see and experience some of Alaska's natural wonders and recreation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska hereby
commends David Brann for his professionalism, teamwork and meritorious efforts on the Kachemak Bay Area connected trails system.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of Homer, Alaska this 10th day of January, 2000.
