A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA AWARDING THE BID FOR SNOW REMOVAL AND SANDING SERVICES FOR 2000/2001/2002 TO THE FIRM OF T AND C ENTERPRISES OF HOMER, ALASKA IN THE AMOUNT PER TRIP PER LOCATION AS INDICATED IN THIS RESOLUTION AND ON THE BID SHEET AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, the Invitation to Bid was advertised in the Homer News on September 14 and 21, 2000 and posted on the City's Home Page; and

WHEREAS, Sealed bids were due in the Office of the City Clerk by 2:00 p.m. on September 28, 2000; and

WHEREAS, three sealed bids were received with T and C Enterprises submitting the lowest responsive bid in the amount of $28.00 per trip per location for snow removal, except that for the library the fee will be $20.00 per trip for snow removal; and $22 per trip per location for sanding, except that the library fee will be $18.00 per trip for sanding; and

WHEREAS, this award is not final until written notification is received by T & C Enterprises of Homer, Alaska from the City of Homer.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska awards the bid for Snow Removal and Sanding Services for 2000/2001/2002 to the firm of T and C Enterprises of Homer, Alaska in the amount per trip per location as indicated in this resolution and on the bid sheet and that the City Manager is authorized to execute the appropriate documents.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 9th day of October, 2000.
