A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA AWARDING THE BID FOR ONE 4x4 CAB AND CHASSIS TRUCK WITH ENCLOSED UTILITY SERVICE BODY TO THE FIRM OF SEEKINS FORD OF SOLDOTNA, ALASKA IN THE AMOUNT OF $54,170.00 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, the Invitation to Bid was advertised in the Homer News on October 12 and 19, 2000, in the Anchorage Daily News on October 19th and posted on the City's Home Page; and

WHEREAS, Sealed bids were due in the Office of the City Clerk by 2:00 p.m. on November 17, 2000; and

WHEREAS, three sealed bids were received with Seekins Ford submitting the lowest responsive bid in the amount of $54,170.00; and

WHEREAS, this award is not final until written notification is received by Seekins Ford of Soldotna, Alaska from the City of Homer.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska awards the bid for one 4X4 Cab and Chassis Truck with enclosed utility service body to the firm of Seekins Ford of Soldotna, Alaska in the amount of $54,170.00 and that the City Manager is authorized to execute the appropriate documents.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 27th day of November, 2000.
