AN RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HOMER, ALASKA AMENDING THE CITY OF HOMER FEE SCHEDULE REGARDING THE SEWER RATES.

WHEREAS, these rates correspond with the CY 01 Budget Ordinance and shall be effective January 1, 2001.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Homer, Alaska hereby amends the Homer Fee Schedule regarding the sewer rates as follows:

Sewer Rate Schedule.

All sewer utility services shall be billed according to the following schedule. This schedule is for monthly sewer services and is in addition to any charges for connecting or disconnecting the service, installation of the service or any assessment of the improvements.

Sewer System Residential or Residential Equivalent Dischargers Who are not Water System Users. Sewer system dischargers who are not water system users shall be charged at the rate of $39.43 36.08 (variable rate ($21.49 $16.46) based on 3,500 gallons per month plus general service charge ($11.29$11.25) plus monthly customer charge ($0.94$3.40) per month.) The City reserves the right to adjust this rate based on the characteristics of the service for non-residential or non-residential equivalent users. Customers who receive septage service shall be charged an additional $5.71 $4.96 per month.

Sewer System Dischargers Who are Members of Kachemak City LID. Kachemak City Local Improvement District (LID) members have contributed to the initial cost of the sewer treatment plant and the collection system. Kachemak City LID dischargers connected within the LID and the City

of Homer shall bill Kachemak City in one lump sum at the rate of $38.49 $32.68(variable rate ($21.49$16.46) based on 3,500 gallons per month plus general service charge ($11.29 $11.25) plus septage cost ($5.71 $4.96) per month for each residential or residential equivalent discharger. Kachemak City shall be responsible for payment to the City of Homer.

Seasonal Sewer Meter fee is $121.10.
