A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES TO THE FIRM OF PERATROVICH, NOTTINGHAM & DRAGE, INC. (PND) ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS OF JUNEAU, ALASKA FOR THE REPAIR AND RENOVATIONS OF THE SMALL BOAT HARBOR IN THE AMOUNT OF $243,925.00 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, the request for proposals was advertised in the Homer News on October 28 and November 4, 1999 and in the Anchorage Daily News on October 23 and 30, 1999, posted on the City's Home Page and sent to plans rooms; and
WHEREAS, sealed proposals were due in the Office of the City Clerk by 4:30 p.m. on December 10, 1999; and
WHEREAS, five sealed proposals were received and evaluated by the selection committee with recommendation to award to PND of Juneau, Alaska in the amount of $243,925; and
WHEREAS, the award is not final until written notification is received by PND from the City of Homer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska awards the contract for professional engineering services to the firm of Peratrovich, Nottingham & Drage, Inc. Engineering Consultants of Juneau, Alaska in the amount of $243,925.00 for the repair and renovations of the Small Boat Harbor and authorizes the City Manager to execute the appropriate documents.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 14th day of February, 2000.
