A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA ACCEPTING THE STATE OF ALASKA DEPARTMENT OF FISH AND GAME GRANT FOR THE FISH WASTE DISPOSAL SYSTEM IN THE AMOUNT OF $68,000 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, the State Department of Fish and Game, Division of Sport Fish has granted the City of Homer $68,000 for a Fish Waste Disposal System; and

WHEREAS, $50,000 has been allocated for the spring of FY00 and $18,000 has been allocated for FY01; and

WHEREAS, the execution of a Cooperative Agreement by and between the State Department of Fish and Game and the City of Homer is a part of this grant receipt.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska hereby accepts the State of Alaska Department of Fish and Game Grant for the Fish Waste Disposal System in the amount of $68,000 and authorizes the City Manager to execute the appropriate documents.
