A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA

AWARDING THE CITY HALL, PARKS & CEMETERIES MAINTENANCE THREE YEAR RENEWABLE CONTRACT FOR THE YEARS 2000, 2001, AND 2002 TO B & C LAWN CARE IN THE AMOUNT OF $15,020.00 PER YEAR AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, the invitation to bid was advertised in the Homer News on March 2 and March 9,2000, and posted on the City's Homer Page; and

WHEREAS, sealed bids were due in the Office of the City Clerk by 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2000, with no bids received; and

WHEREAS, Public Works solicited bids with a due date of noon on March 31, 2000, and three sealed bids were received with the lowest bid submitted from B & C Lawn Care of Anchor Point, Alaska in the amount of $15, 020.00 per year for the years 2000, 2001, and 2002; and

WHEREAS, this award is not final until written notification is received by B & C Lawn Care form the City of Homer.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska, awards the 2000, 2001, and 2002 City Hall, Parks, & Cemeteries Maintenance Three Year Renewable Contract to B & B Lawn Care of Anchor Point, Alaska, in the amount of $125, 020.00 per year and authorized the City Manager to execute the appropriate documents.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 10^th day of April, 2000.
