RESOLUTION 00-42

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA AWARDING THE FISH WASTE GRINDING AND DISPOSAL SYSTEM TO AUTIO COMPANY OF ASTORIA, OREGON, IN THE AMOUNT OF $35,057 AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, the invitation to bid was advertised in the Homer Tribune on March 22 and 29 and Homer News on March 23, 2000, posted on the City's Home Page and sent to three in-state plans rooms; and

WHEREAS, sealed bids were due in the Office of the City Clerk by 2:00 p.m. on April 5, 2000; and

WHEREAS, six sealed bids were received with Autio Company of Astoria, Oregon, submitting the lowest responsive bid in the amount of $35,057.00; and

WHEREAS, this award is not final until written notification is received by Autio Company from the City of Homer.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska, awards the Fish Waste Grinding and Disposal System to Autio Company of Astoria, Oregon, in the amount of $35, 057.00 and authorizes the City Manager to execute the appropriate documents.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 10^th day of April, 2000.
