A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA AWARDING THE BID FOR 2000 PUBLIC WORKS GRAVEL SUPPLY, GRVL-00, TO PIT RUN PLUS OF NINILCHIK, ALASKA IN THE AMOUNT OF $8.75/CY FOR 2"MINUS AND $8.25/CY FOR SAND AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, the Invitation to Bid was advertised in the Homer Tribune on May 31st and June 7, 2000 and posted on the City's Home Page; and

WHEREAS, Sealed bids were due in the Office of the City Clerk by 2:00 p.m. on June 15, 2000; and

WHEREAS, four sealed bids were received with Pit Run Plus submitting the lowest responsive bid per cubic yard for sand at $8.25 and gravel at $8.75; and

WHEREAS, the award is not final until written notification is received by Pit Run Plus from the City of Homer.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska awards the bid for 2000 Public Works Gravel Supply, GRVL-00, to Pit Run Plus of Ninilchik, Alaska in the amount of $8.75/CY for 2"MINUS and $8.25/CY for sand and authorizes the City Manager to execute the appropriate documents.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 26th day of June, 2000.
