A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA AWARDING THE BID FOR ONE WASTE OIL VACUUM TRUCK AND PUMPING SYSTEM TO THE FIRM OF ENVIRONMENTAL SOLUTIONS SUPPLY OF ANCHORAGE, ALASKA IN THE AMOUNT OF $53,731.00 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, the Invitation to Bid was advertised in the Anchorage Daily News, Seattle Journal of Commerce and Homer News on June 15 and 22, 2000 and posted on the City's Home Page; and

WHEREAS, Sealed bids were due in the Office of the City Clerk by 2:00 p.m. on June 29, 2000; and

WHEREAS, two sealed bids were received with Environmental Solutions Supply of Anchorage, Alaska submitting the lowest responsive bid; and

WHEREAS, the award is not final until written notification is received by Environmental Solutions Supply from the City of Homer.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska awards the bid for one Waste Oil Vacuum Truck and Pumping System to the firm of Environmental Solutions Supply of Anchorage, Alaska in the amount of $53,731.00 and authorizes the City Manager to execute the appropriate documents.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 14th day of August, 2000.
