A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA AWARDING THE BID FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A FISH CARCASS DUMP TRAILER TO THE FIRM OF BOB'S SERVICES, INC. OF ANCHORAGE, ALASKA IN THE AMOUNT OF $10,197.00 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, the Invitation to Bid was advertised in the Homer News on July 13 and 20, 2000 provided to three in state plans rooms and posted on the City's Home Page; and

WHEREAS, Sealed bids were due in the Office of the City Clerk by 2:00 p.m. on July 28, 2000; and

WHEREAS, one sealed bid was received from Bob's Services Inc. of Anchorage, Alaska in the amount of $10,197.00; and

WHEREAS, the award is not final until written notification is received by Bob's Services, Inc. from the City of Homer.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska awards the bid for the construction of a fish carcass dump trailer to the firm of Bob's Services, Inc. of Anchorage, Alaska in the amount of $10,197.00 and authorizes the City Manager to execute the appropriate documents.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 14th day of August, 2000.
