A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA AWARDING THE BID FOR THE 2000 SEPTIC TANK PUMPING TO THE FIRM OF PENINSULA PUMPING OF SOLDOTNA, ALASKA IN THE AMOUNT OF $6,950.00 PLUS $100.00 PER ADDITIONAL TANK AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, the Invitation to Bid was advertised in the Homer News on September 7 and 14, 2000, in the Peninsula Clarion on September 10 and 14, 2000, sent to the Peninsula's Plans Room and posted on the City's Home Page; and

WHEREAS, Sealed bids were due in the Office of the City Clerk by 4:30 p.m. on September 20, 2000; and

WHEREAS, two sealed bids were received with Peninsula Pumping of Soldotna, Alaska submitting the lowest responsive bid; and

WHEREAS, the award is not final until written notification is received by Peninsula Pumping from the City of Homer.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska awards the bid for the 2000 Septic Tank Pumping to the firm of Peninsula Pumping of Soldotna, Alaska in the amount of $6,950.00 plus $100.00 per additional tank and authorizes the City Manager to execute the appropriate documents.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 25th day of September, 2000.
