A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA AWARDING THE BID FOR THE JACK GIST PARK DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS TO THE FIRM OF FOSTER CONSTRUCTION OF SOLDOTNA, ALASKA IN THE AMOUNT OF $29,000.00 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, the Invitation to Bid was advertised in the Homer Tribune on April 5 and 12, 2001, sent to three in state plans rooms and was posted on the City's Home Page; and
WHEREAS, Sealed bids were due in the Office of the City Clerk by 2:00 p.m. on April 26, 2001; and
WHEREAS, five sealed bids were received with Foster Construction of Soldotna, Alaska submitting the lowest responsible and responsive bid in the amount of $29, 000.00; and
WHEREAS, this award is not final until written notification is received by Foster Construction of Soldotna, Alaska from the City of Homer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska awards the bid for the Jack Gist Park Drainage Improvements to the firm of Foster Construction of Soldotna, Alaska in the amount of $29,000.00 and authorizes the City Manager to Execute the appropriate documents.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 14th day of May, 2001.
